Basically,
Comic Sweep aggregates the most recent RSS feeds of your favorite webcomics into one bookmarkable place. That way, all you have to do is save one link to get your daily comic fix. No more mess of windows and tabs. No more collection of bookmarks. No registration needed. Just choose your comics and you're done.
Using Comic Sweep
You can:
- construct your link, by choosing which comics you want and a number of days for filtering out older entries.
- generate a random selection of comics, which I strongly suggest you check out. There are some fantastic comics out there that I never knew existed before making this site. The default number of comics to choose is 5, but you change that whatever you want in the link, e.g. /random/23
- check out the top comics by popularity to see what other comics people think are good (not yet implemented).
Slightly More Advanced Usage
Every URL to a collection of comics will look something like this:
http://comicsweep.com/s/x/y/z?d=n
where x, y, and z are unique ID
codes for a specific feed and n is a real number specifying
the maximum number of days since an entry was updated, ie. only entries
that have been updated less than n days ago will be
displayed. If n is 0 (or anything other than a positive
real number), Comic Sweep will display the most recent entry of each
comic.
Comics x, y, and z will be
displayed in the order they appear, so if you want to change the order,
just rearrange the codes in the link. Moreover, if you want to add or
delete comics to the collection, just add or delete the corresponding
comic code to the URL, or use the deconstruct function in the /s/ page.
